After a series of discussions and exchanges between partner agencies, the PYDP MEAL Framework Validation Conference formally closes with the NYC Commissioner Representing Luzon Reena Pineda conveying her gratitude to UNICEF for providing monetary assistance to the Commission; enabling them to host today’s affair.
The almost 6-hour forum served as an avenue for varying agencies to have their concerns addressed on how they can better serve the Filipino youth; as well as identify some of the best practices for these government offices to be much more efficient in executing their respective youth-centric programs and campaigns.
The inputs collated from today’s conference will be aptly taken into consideration by the NYC in forming a better MEAL Framework to be utilized by each and every government partner agencies.
The CFO, together with other partner agencies participated in the Refinement and Finalization of the Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) Framework, and Management and Implementation System for the Philippine Youth Development Plan (PYDP) 2023-2028.
The conference is a follow-up to the recently conducted PYDP 2023-2028 MEAL Framework Workshop held last February 6-7. The forum’s goal is to enable NYC’s MEAL Consultant, Dr. Editha Maslang to present the draft MEAL Framework and Management, and Implementation System to NYC and other key stakeholders for additional inputs (if needed be) and areas for improvement.
